"My goal wasn't just to get him trained for college admissions. I wanted him to build the lifelong habits and mindset needed to explore his passions long after he graduates. The most rewarding part has been the shift in our dynamic - I've been able to step back from being a manager and become more of a mentor. It's a huge relief to see my son taking the lead on his own future with real determination."

It was a great tool for our sophomore to really focus on his college admissions journey and understand the building blocks to be successful. Having a team of experts helps create focus on what matters most and motivates my teen to take the lead in their process."

"I'm so impressed by this program that looks at students holistically and helps them transform, both as students and as people. It's the most effective endeavor I've seen in teaching kids how to be more themselves and how to be the best students they can be. This program is a confidence-builder, a perspective-shifter, and a game-changer."

"My daughter and I have just finished a 21 day cohort Ivy-Bound Challenge and it has been a wonderful experience. Hard and challenging yes, worth it 1000%! The knowledge they have to help your teen and the parents - not just with college admissions but with great life lessons - has been so rewarding. If you feel overwhelmed with the how/what/when for today's college admissions process, reach out to them."

"Our family just completed the 21-day Ivy-Bound Challenge. I highly recommend this program to all families who have 'A student' kids. I enjoyed seeing our kids grow and transform right in front of our eyes. Being at the end of their 8th grade year, they will come into high school hungry, prepared to succeed, and with a solid understanding of the admissions process."

"Our family completed the 21 Day Ivy-Bound Challenge. It was life changing and exceptional. The program is organized, purposeful, meaningful, and developed from the heart. In the evenings, our dinner conversations were often about the topics and we were all scurrying to our computers. If you have the opportunity to take this challenge, please don't miss it."

"As a parent, I am amazed to see the difference in our daughter's confidence to apply to top colleges in a short period of time. She not only completed every assignment, but she also looked forward to them! I wish I had known about this program for our twins three years ago. Our student now looks forward to the college application process."

What Is the Ivy-Bound Challenge?

The Ivy-Bound Challenge is a structured, 14-day program designed to give families a real experience of The Delehey Method™ - the same three-stage system behind 16+ years of results and 4,100+ family journeys.

This is not our full, multi-year college confidence program. It's a focused, high-intensity sprint that compresses foundational growth into two weeks of deliberate, daily action.

Each day, students complete one focused hour of guided work. Parents spend 10-20 minutes reviewing a brief check-in. The daily rhythm is intentional - it's what creates real, lasting change.

The challenge covers the core principles that our long-term students consistently tell us changed their lives: how to study effectively, how to identify authentic interests, how to build habits that stick, and how to approach the college admissions process with clarity instead of anxiety.

By the end of 14 days, families walk away with a fundamentally different student - more focused, more confident, more grounded, and equipped with skills that last well beyond the challenge itself.

Built on The Delehey Method™

The Ivy-Bound Challenge is a focused sprint through the same three-stage system that powers our full program.

Stage 2 33%

Tell

January 11th - January 12th Grade

Students learn what actually matters in a college application and how to turn their authentic growth into a story admissions officers can't ignore.

Stage 3 33%

Stack the Deck

September 12th - May of 12th Grade

Strategic application sequencing and careful planning to maximize admissions chances for the schools that are truly the right fit. No more "what-ifs."

Built on 16 Years of Proven Results

The Ivy-Bound Challenge is built on The Delehey Method™, created by Jack Delehey, the founder of CollegeConsulting.us, who has spent 16 years and over 4,100 families developing and refining the system.

Jack's approach grew out of his own experience as a burned-out high school junior in 2009 - running on 5 hours of sleep, doing everything he was "supposed to do," and wondering if any of it was worth it. After discovering a better way to learn and work, he earned straight A's, got into Vanderbilt, and dedicated his career to teaching the same principles to families across the country.

"Families get direct access to the methodology, the mindset, and the accountability that have produced Ivy League acceptances and - most importantly - confident, capable young adults who actually love their lives."
Jack Delehey, Founder of CollegeConsulting.us

The Delehey Method™ Gets Results.

We consistently place students at institutions others only dream of. Our recent graduating class received over $4.4M in college scholarships and multiple students received 100% full ride scholarships.

But here's the truth: if those names are all you care about, we're probably not the right fit.
What we're most proud of is watching each student become a confident, capable, grounded young adult. The acceptance letters were just the byproduct.

Who This Is For

We meet with every family before enrollment to determine mutual fit. Not every family is accepted.

This is designed for:

  • High-performing students with a 3.7+ GPA in grades 8-12
  • Families who believe their teen is capable of more but hasn't found the right approach
  • Students who work hard but feel burned out, anxious, or stuck on a treadmill
  • Parents who want more for their teen - not more pressure on them
  • Parents who want a structured, proven system - not generic advice
  • Families willing to commit to showing up every single day for 14 days

Probably not the right fit if:

  • The name on the acceptance letter is your primary definition of success
  • You want a program that tells your teen exactly what colleges want to see - and how to perform accordingly
  • You're looking for a shortcut or a quick fix
  • Your student is not self-motivated and needs to be convinced to care
  • Your family can't commit to daily participation for the full 14 days

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. The challenge itself costs nothing. Families place a fully refundable commitment deposit to join - this ensures every participant is serious about showing up daily. Complete the 14 days and you receive 100% of your deposit back.

Because we believe the best way to earn a family's trust is to deliver real results first. Some families will complete the challenge, see the transformation, and choose to continue working with us. Others won't - and that's completely fine. Either way, your teen walks away with genuine, lasting growth.

The challenge is designed for students in grades 8 through 12. Starting earlier gives families more time to build, which is why we welcome families as early as 8th grade.

Students commit to 1 focused hour per day. Parents spend 10-20 minutes reviewing a brief daily check-in. The challenge runs for 14 consecutive days.

At the end of the challenge, families have a personalized check-in call to review progress and next steps. Some families choose to continue with our full program. Many don't. Both outcomes are completely fine - that's the point of doing this first.

Most programs start at the end - "what do colleges want to see?" - and work backwards. We start at the beginning. We ask: how do we help this teenager become a genuinely impressive human being? When you build real confidence, teach smart work habits, and help students discover what they actually care about, they start standing out naturally. Not because they're performing for admissions officers. Because they've actually become someone worth noticing.

Each cohort is capped at 30 families. This is intentional - to protect coaching quality, accountability, and the student experience. Both Cohort 1 and Cohort 2 filled completely and went to a waitlist. We expect Cohort 5 to fill quickly, so applying early is strongly encouraged.

Don't miss your chance. Take control over your college planning process today.
